* Bump!

Anyone watch the Finale last night? :)

I enjoyed the series, hoping for a second. It good but not amazing TV, certianly better than a lot of the guff on BBC at the moment.

I think at times Idris has crossed the line from 'burnt out / close the the edge' cop to hammy OTT actor but on the whole it's been pretty decent. I like the weird relationship he has with the nihilstic girl!

Episodes 1 and 2 were exelent,after that it just got a bit stupid which is a shame as there is nothing on terrestrial)sp) tv these days that has any quality:whip:

At the moment I quite like Lewis on ITV on a Sunday night, and the odd comedy panel show like have I got news for you / Buzzcocks etc.. but on the whole I agree with you, most terrestrial TV is pretty dire, unless I just miss all the good stuff :wack:

Agreed :nod: It was good entertainment and I hope they'll do another series.

Also........

I'm not sure why but as the series went on, I started to find Ruth Wilson more and more attractive :wack:

I missed this, maybe get hold of it somehow, really wanted to watch it as Stringer Bell was one of my favourite characters in the best TV show ever made.

Quite, though I heard this was shit so I've just started watching The Wire again - it might all make sense this time round :D

Just started watching the first season, I just watched episode 5 last night. At first I was not that sure about this, but it got better. Definitely the best thing I have seen on UK television for ages. I tried to get into other highly rated english stuff like Life On Mars but I just did not care for it at all, and as such dismissed everything. Pleased I finally watched this truly, awesome :cool:

ITV strangely have had the best dramas and short series recently. Luther is probably the best thing the BBC has put out for a while.

Shame there are only 4 episodes in the latest bunch :(

Yes I believe so I am recording them all to start watching after I finish Season 1.

Hmmmm. I felt it went a bit Ashes to Ashes tonight.

This series seems a bit gory too. Yeah, I know I'm being delicate :ghey:

As next week is the final one, I'm hoping that I'll spot myself in the next episode as I was walking over the millenium bridge during filming and I haven't seen me yet. I was so tempted to :wave: at the camera :D
Its probably ended up on the cutting room floor anyway :(
