Im thinking of buying shares, but I know absolutely nothing about how to go about it. DOes anyone have any tips on how to get started?

I'm not expecting big gains (if any to start) but I can afford about £50 p/m to begin with, looking to increase it if I get on with it.

Ever heard of "practicing"? Thta is called paper trading, although a demo account has nothing to do with paper nowadays.

To put it very succinctly, if you don't have the discipline to practice, you will loose big time in real trading.
