Ive had a search for this in the search bar but couldnt find an answer. Just wondering how much oil the diff needs? Also how much for the gearbox?

I'd have thought as my cars got a Kaaz diff in it i should stick with Kaaz diff oil? Is this true or are there better alternatives. I can get most oils through my work, i.e millers silkoline etc so cost isnt too much of a worry.

Cheers

1.8 litres for the diff. 2.4 litres for the gearbox

one method people use is:
differentials have 2 plugs, the fill plug and the drain plug.
with the differential level (and assuming the old oil was drained) remove the fill plug and fill oil until the level starts to almost spill out the fill plug hole.
of course this method doesnt really DEFINE the exact quantity of oil one would need to buy. but its always better to buy in bulk and have some left over for later.
just trying to help~
