View Full Version : At the risk of...
...having this thread closed with the word "Shite", I thought I share one of the life's little difficulties...
Does anyone else find it difficult when using a new bog roll to find the end, and to start the new roll easily - i.e. without tearing half the new roll to shreads with strips of roll rather than it actually rolling on the roll so to speak...if you're with me? And when you do actually get it working, half the bloody thing has been used whilst you struggle to find the end
I know the feeling mate :(
I get frustrated when the 2 ply's go out of sync with each other, and when you tear it, it tears in 2 different places
Make sense?
Without doubt you must have the saddest life ever. Even by Potteries standards :wack:

i've notice that it only seems to happen with the cheap stuff, i get double quilted velevet or whatever it's called and it never goes out of sync
"Charmin" I think you mean? If bears use it as they show in the ads then it should withstand the human ars* with relative ease. We all know that a bear does 5hit in the woods and he chooses "Charmin" to wipe it clean.
right, this really is sad. But I've figured out how to fix the out of sync toilet roll problem.... :wack:
You have to unwind one of the layers of the 2-ply tissue - this'll get you back in sync...
...... can't believe I just posted that....

I can't believe I was about to post that and found you beat me to it. This place is great! Not only do you get advice on fixing your car but also your toilet roll :D
if you hadn't posted the solution I would have :wack:
I don't get you...what do you mean, unwind one of the layers - I'm having a really thick day today.
Take the top ply of the two ply and unwind it one turn. The end of that ply will now fall in line with the second ply
Ah right - I'll try it next time I have a bout of botty coughing. :)
You fools!
I already knew how to do it, but its just annoying :D
Glad to hear it isn't only me anyway.
Syncronised toilet roll tearing
