Just wondering if anyone would reccomend anywhere to get one from? My cars got an up-rated clutch in it with a stock release bearing as the seller informed me. The release bearing sounds a bit fek'd so could do with replacing it...
Driftworks sell standard Nissan clutch release bearings. About £30 if I remember correctly.
Apex sell them but 90% of people who come to me saying they have a noisey release bearing miss diagnose it, and its normaly the box, if the noise gets louder as you press the clutch its the bearing if it get quieter its the box:thumbs:
If it's a twin plate clutch like mine you might be wasting your time. I thought mine was on it's way out too so I ordered a new bearing from driftworks but it turns out the clutch is supposed to make that noise.
Sounds like a bag of nails when you press the clutch down?

Sortof, i havent really paid much attention to it tbh, myself and a friend from work both think its the release bearing, The guy i bought it off made me aware of it anyway. When i next take it for a spin i'll listen to the noise in a bit more detail.
I think it does get quieter as the pedal is depressed mind :S
