View Full Version : anyone else gonna have a work in progress for japfest?
Alright everyone,
Its looking like I'm gonna be turning up with either a car that's rubbed down and covered in filler or at best maybe primer, anyone else gonna be turning up with a work in progress lol? At least this year I'm gonna be mapped. What's everyone elses car turning up like?
Steve
Well having spent a fair few quid on new wheels I still have loads to do to get them fitted,I've got a horrible feeling i'm gonna run out of time:o
I don't tend to get involved with any work either as things seem to break when I do lol:ghey:
Mines not even gonna make it! :(
i dunno if mine will be done it will be painted but maybe missing a rear bumper all depends on when the ship from japan arrives
Same as last for me. Yeah I know, lazy

Got my tickets today WOOO-HOOOO
My car will either be there or it won't, going to crack on with the exhaust change tomorrow/the weekend, it'll either go fine or I'll end up with no studs left on the tubby, a load of exhaust pipes that won't fit together and a broken nail :( I'm kinda hoping it'll go fine :D
Not recieved my tickets yet, just read that another batch has been sent so hoping today or tomorrow and they'll be here
No tickets for me yet! for some reason my tickets never arrive at my house tho... hope this year they sort it out as my address is defo right!
Got my tickets today, now its on to get the car going

My work in progress will be safely tucked away in the garage with nothing on it for Japfest lol
Looks highly likely my new wheels will be shitty offset this year:cry:
No one in Bristol is able to roll the arches and no one really wants to touch fitting the longer studs for my spacers either!:(
:whip: come on jim. Pull your finger out! The studs are easy.
But if the arches aren't rolled I can't run the spacers anyway!:o
Ease off jon lol:wack::D
At least it will be the nurbs and not the white ones...might throw on some 5mm spacers for japfest and get all sorted afterwards, might have to cough up and travel to archenemy eventually.:)
Spacers.........that's nothing lol, I've still got bodywork to sort, an exhaust that for some reason has decided to move and rest on the petrol tank, and I've run out of money to get it mapped :D
yeah got everything required....ultralite hubcentrics, studs etc...got no cheap 5mm spacers yet though.
