In electronics classes years ago, we used this white plastic that could be cut to the desired shape, and then moulded to another piece of the plastic using not a glue, but a melting solution that bonded the two pieces so we could make custom enclosures...


Dotn suppose anyone knows what its called, or where I can get some? Ive tried Farnell and RS components with no luck, and only get plastic pressing firms when googling...

If it's thin stuff you mean it's prolly polystyrene, and the glue is polystyrene cement which kinda melts/dissolves the two bits into each other.
