View Full Version : Top Gear break another car
Obviously not content with killing the Norris Designs Evo, Top Gear have apparently now damaged a rare C-type Jaguar race car (one of only 3 working examples!) which won the 1953 Le Mans race.
Whoever was driving it at the time managed to twist the driveshafts and destroy the tyres and clutch.
Muppets!

We might as well get meals on wheels over next time then  ;)
docwra - Cambridge SXOC poor relative ............. :( ;) :D
heh saw this on sky news - good work top gear
It's good in a way - doesn't make Norris' car look unreliable. Makes top gear drivers look like spoons :D
Does that mean they are top notch, cause I heard Spoons test drivers are pretty darn good ;) :D
Ahh notice I didn't say _spoons'_ , but spoons, and thus had no connection with that excellent honda tuning comp :)
I saw this article - it all seems a bit fishy to me. This car after all was built to average 100mph or so round le sarthe for 24 hrs surely if could cope with a couple of hours tomfoolery.

Was it the stig driving?
Christ I just came from the GTR site where I think they said who was driving and I've already forgotten. I don't think it was the stig, Jonathan Palmer and someone else?
Oh, and the stig is Perry Mccarthy apparently :)
