I just ordered some Silvatec bulbs (the type that look silver but glow orange) and found a good deal on Ebay - or so I thought :(
The bulbs looked a bit suspicious as the silver coating wasn't chrome-like as expected, but more like silver paint. I put them in my front indicators and sure enough they were orange ... but soooo dim :mad: I then noticed smoke coming from them!! :eek: The damn coating was actually giving off smoke when they got hot!
Needless to say I have sent them back and I am now looking for some genuine Silvatec bulbs - any ideas guys?
