Does anybody know what a noisy thrust bearing is ?
Is it expensive to fix ?

if you can hear a different noise (like a buzzing) when you release the clutch on idle, and the noise goes away when you press the clutch in... then that's a noisy Thrust Bearing... as far as I know, it isn't likely to do any damage unless it's shagged, in which case it won't activate the clutch no more.

nope  ... waite till your clutch needs replacing and do it at the same time... shouldn't be too expensive... all mine have done it to a less or more degree... none have been LOUD though
