It might be the typically un-British weather that we have been having over the last few days but I have found myself 'oogliing' at the S2000's sat on my local Honda dealers forecourt...I quite like the 'I-could-kung-foo-yer-ass' looks and the fact that the top drops..anyone got any first hand experience?

Ace car, a boy at my work has one in Red (are they all this colour?!?!). They are 237bhp (IIRC) from a N/A 2.0L, pretty handy. You need to boot them big time to get them to go and I wouldn't fancy my chances at tuning one, they are probably pretty well tuned as it is IMO.

Dunc.

My bosses boss was testing one for a few days, and decided to take me for a spin... wicked... like being in a motorbike :D (given slower than a bike, so no flaming please)... revs to 9, and handles pretty well for a production model :D ... a few little tweeks and it would be amazing.

£26K though... might well be worth it?... nah, I'd just mod my 200 and have spare cash for the deposit on a house instead  haha

Fantastic car and it's a Honda so nuff said. I get flashed by a silver one every morning...I think the Guy driving it feels sorry for me in my civic. Oooh me wants one. Have mooch over to www.civictype-r.co.uk. A couple of the guys over there are the proud owners of an S2000

Does that mean it's not a scrabble wagon then? I don't actually know what scrabble means...I just figured it was anything not a 2***** or a Skyline. 'Scrabble' must be anything front wheel drive then? What about AWD/4WD? I'm still confused. But who says I don't learn something new everyday. Just gotta crack the bhp v torque thang and there will be no stopping me. I'll be posting in technical and everything. :D

She's fab round corners...has to be with me driving ;) and given where I live 'n all. Made me giggle when I watched Top Gear t'other week and Jez explained the difference between understeer and oversteer. It reminded me of a track day experience I had at Croft at the end of last year. Part of it was class room based so that I could be taught the basics. The Guy went into great detail about oversteer and understeer and I just said someat like "Can we keep this simple?..so basically you're saying it's when the car doesn't go where I want it to". The look of despair on his face :D Fun day tho.

Oooooh Vez...Get you! And there was me under the impression that the, errrr, testosterone levels were only high in the 'technical' forum. Why do ya think I'm trying to enhance my knowledge and venture over there? (joke) ;)
