Hi friendly SWers :)

I cant get my diff of myself with my car in my garage... need help moving it about so I can lift the whole back end rather than 1 side only. Cant manage by myself safely.

Should be a pretty straight forward job once it's out and easy to get to. Exhaust is all off now, shouldn't be too much trouble :)

Thanks for any helps people! Thinking Good Friday would be a good plan!

Ben

Good work on those wheels, glad you're making good progress :)

No worries chaps, perhaps somebody will be able to help... otherwise I'll come up with a new cunning plan.

why cant you get it out your self?

You not got a pair of axle stands? if not, a wheel under each wheel is fine:) undo the bolts, lay under it and lower it onto your chest, then slide off to the side, job done:)

Car is in my garage, wedged right up against 1 wall, and I cant move it by myself safely, without risk of it hitting stuff, like the wall.

Once it's out, it shouldn't be a problem as you say :)

Then I need to get it back in again!

I dont need much help, just a little to move it around :)

How long do you think it would take to do ben?? I could pop over one evening if it's not going to take a huge amount of time.

Evilchap

I honestly wouldn't mind moving the car myself, it's just a bit tight round the garage, and do not want to cause it any more harm that I have with all my other good ideas :wack:

An evening would be a good plan Chris, but I think I'll try and do it in daylight, had my fill of working in the dark for the time begin ;)

Should be able to make it up to give a hand.

Got to double check the we aren't working this friday as we are moving workshops but i doubt it.

I need some more of those wheel nuts (Don't ask!) another 10 ideally and some new studs if you do them. So would need to meet up to get them, might aswell do it all at once!

You only need access round the back and a jack  why do you want to get to the sides? If I had money for petrol then I'd pop over... dont get paid till Wednesday :(

Terry is your man for meatless cooking :)

She isn't a fussy eater, just doesn't do meat or seasame lol

Everything you would do for the meat meal but without the meat! Substitute some non-meaty stuff. Chilli: more peppers and mushrooms or some Quorn mince (actually not too bad!) fajita's/burrito's whatever they are called, more peppers!! You could try popping in some sliced Quorn fillets (http://www.quorn.co.uk/products/Low_fat_Fillets.aspx) instead of the chicken. Cook it in a different pan though ;) Give me a bell/text if you need advice from an ex-veggie!

Lol! Cheers mate :wack: Must have you over again at some point!

Not like Ben then :D Nothing green (apart from mint aero's), no nuts, few veg and so on... How do you survive mate?!

EDIT: Sorry - green jalapeno's too :D

I need advice... what's the cure, so I can tell Kev and then I can cook real food :D

Cheese is still good right?

Teggers

Chicken and bacon sandwich and an innate curiosity did it for me ;) I tried with Em, she wasn't having any of it :wack:

Cheese is fine unless she's now a vegan!
