Some people in work want to do paintballing, work said they would pay for entry, your lunch and whatever balls are included in the package. I remember from last time I went, the enjoyement was mostly ruened by them charging £8 for 100 balls which to me is madness when you can get 1000 for £20 but they would not let you bring your own in for obvious reasons as it was how they made there money.

Last time I went I was more so worried about shooting than getting shot as you can easily blast out 200 balls per round, over 8 round at £8 per pop it works out to be silly prices, I could go out and buy a paintball gun and go into the woods for that kinda dosh.

Is there any places that will let you rent equipment but let you bring you own paint balls?

Thanks

Thats how most make their money, i think.
I know the skirmish place i go to wont allow it, unless its a bring your own kit type day.

As above, not a chance you'll get to take your own balls to a regular organised day. You should be able to negotiate a better price on their balls if you pay up front and order enough.

£26 for 2000 competition spec balls. £160 from a organised day. Can get a gun, mask, and paintballs for that kinda monies.

Guess I will be putting my name on the "No" list for this one then, not waisted my money.

Thanks!

What about not using paint balls but ballbearings instead?! Although you probably would kill someone...

Walk On Days, they call them.
I don't do anything else now, regular punters are too easy to colour in. Walk On's tend to be a bit more difficult (and cheaper)
I'm a way away from you, so I don't know where your local sites are. I pay £25 for the day, including lunch, bring your own paint, markers and eye protection. They'l also sell you paint at decent prices (from £25 for 2000)
If your interested I'll post up details.

Edit: see you dont have your own gear, but you can buy a low end used marker cheap enough, and a decent visor for £25 thereabouts.
