View Full Version : My Wheel Arch and Local Body Shops
Hay everybody
Hope no-one minds me putting this in here but its a local request.
I'm hoping to have my 13 all ready to roll when I return from over here in June. My better half is orginising MOT and Rear tires with the Aid of Sky69. And to all intents and purposes It should go through bar a tad of welding nicely.
The problem I've got is when I rolled the arches 1 side went nicely and I was really pleased, the other (well went crap :wack:) Due to most of the arch bubbling with rust.
I did a bodge to drive it (Wire brush filler sand and primer:smash:) but would really like it put right.
Although I bought the JUN look arches they just don't suit a black car IMO so there sat on my shelf.
I figure I need a new Arch welded in there and then I need it rolled to suit the other side and then Painted up in a tricky colour Kuro Black with a gold flake.
Anybody know of any body shops that can do this local for me?:D
Then finally it just needs a tad of alignment and bobs your sisters aunt:D

You could try NJ Restorations in Gorslas. But may be costly.

If you need metal work then Phil has a wicked metal man  he could sort you some nice flared arches or anything you fancy.
He is not the best with paint though :wack: but we do have contacts for this
Send Phil a PM and he will sort you as i cant remember Giles number or website address (even though we were talking about it last night lol)
Thanks guys I might see what that place barry is using has got on atm, Being so remote from the situation it would be nice to give it to one man to do metal and paint.
Barry your about to have pm buddy:thumbs:

If these are the same people where mine is, no chance for the foreseeable future. They have four or five restorations on at the moment.

Gyle wont disappoint on the repair or metalwork
Phil may be able to get you in to his paint man to have the spray work done too !
It's a bit more messing about but you will have the job done right

I know the feeling mate, bought a 325i coupe a few years ago but got bored of the lack of driver input after 6 months and went straight back to a 200. The driver input isn't up to much now but it the car makes up for it.
