mark..
thats the same one....only live down the road in Basildon mate...
its giving me grief....arry has had a look and its just looks a pain to get it off the car...not simple like the 200
and to make matters worse...i cant find a replacement one....
car needed for monday too...
They are listed as a different part number to the S14 ones
GTiR - 23100-64J00
S14 - 23100-65F17
Dont know how different they are tho, if you get it off bring it round with arry and you can compare it to the one off mine.

the key thing there is getting it off...

dont panic im leaving it there lol....
trying to get the bots off is so difficult...no room to wrk in the engine bay..and not too sure if the correct bolts have been located...

I've taken mine off and it's still not easy with the engine out. There are 3 bolts-an adjusting one(next to belt),the long one (to left of adjustor if looking from o/s wing)that holds it in place and a short pivot bolt(6" underneath the long bolt).I've replied on your thread on the yahoo list.

the engine is in.
have managed to undo the nut on the long bolt and pushed it out of the bracket - at which point it hits the manifold and doesnt pass  . Have taken the adjuster right off and rad hose to ease access.
Where is the third bolt then mate? I thought it was just the adjuster bolt and the long bolt? How did you get the damn long bolt past the mani??
Hellp :(
Sorry to hear about the alternator, hope you get it sorted soon.
Mine is going well so far, albeit apart from a suspected blowing exhaust manifold which I bet the warranty won't cover.
I must borrow a camera and get some piccies soon.
