Passports??

Hi fella's n lass'es

Right heres the situation, Booked flights to menorca this afternoon for me and the fiancee, everybodys happy:) , prblem is this, niether of us have a passport :rolleyes: , forms are filled in ready to be checked by the post office first thing in the morning and sent off (all being well).

How long will it take for them to come back if anybody knows :confused: :confused:

p.s. im still on mi parents passports so they have to go as well

also can i go down to liverpool and pick them up before i travel to save time on postage:confused:

You can take you application to Liverpool and wait to get your passport on the same day. Don't think you'll be able to pick it up if you post them the application though.

Takes a couple of weeks I think if the post office checks it and you send it off

EDIT Not sure about the same day service with you being taken off your parents passports. Phone them up and ask is the best thing to do

Mine took two weeks to process, including them writing to me to ask me to send them the correct fee - I was a few quid short on the cheque. (oops!)

Not bad I thought.

unlike the DVLA which will take appx 1 year to do anything:mad:
