I was lucky enough to be in Malaysia all Feb and attended both test sessions on the last days ( team days/real stuff ) ..
Sepang circuit (huge) 2.00mins + per lap. 50 mins from Kuala Lumpur right near KLIA (international airport).. in the hills!
Malaysia is an amazing place if you are considering a trip!
now its the 1st time i have seen any sort of bike racing real time besides being a lifetime bike racing fan and what an introduction seeing a lone hrc honda out on the track to begin with..
its sort of like a drug. the more you do/hear/see. the less the effect!
the noise is immense! the heat also and track temps..
the noisiest bike there was the pramac ducati (bassy) desmosedici (last yrs factory bike i think)..
all the boys were there! as much as i try not to be a rossi fanboy there is no denying he is the man! randy de puniet was also giving it death 100%..
it was testing so very stop/start.. in and out stuff! some huge leaps made in the day according to reports.. rossi fastest overall!
cant wait for season start next month!
seems like a dream now im home:(
great days and suprisingly quiet and FREE to watch from the stands! :D
all pics and vids taken with 10mpx nikon coolpix so not great!
took 70 pics with my real 35mm slr (yeah im old skool) but not yet processed!
wanted to share with you all.. i dont gloat.. not my thing!:)

Just noticed this!!

Awesome mate, I'd love to and watch some Moto GP!

And that Ducati is really making me want a Desmosidici RR, I dont have £40,000 to lay out on a bike though :wack:

Loris Caparossi

A real gent and a good laugh when i met him at a Ducati Moto GP meet the rider function befor the British GP@ Donnington

Colin Edwards is another down to earth sort met him in Spain before a WSB race he took us to meet his pit crew and told them "If these guys can ride down from the UK to here how come i cant get my SP2 round this track more than 5 laps before it breaks down :wack:

A much nicer chap than that WHINGING T**T Stoner who i have also met at a Ducati Function

capirossi is a bit of a moaner to at times.. it cant be easy trying to develop a sukuki in motogp now though..
its good to read the books to find out what happens behind the scenes!
he seems sound though..
edwards is a top geeza yeah.. i loved him in wsb in 02/03 against bayliss.. he was there on the non works yam team.. he s chilled. you never hear of him bitching!
i dont think i would if i had that job but they are so competative.. it cant be easy finishing at the back of the field all the time!
stoner has had some bad breaks but he is miserable.. its not his fault. hes australian!:)
i hope nicky hayden can do more this season..
its going to be a really interseting season. i dont think rossi has it made. hes gonna have to work hard! he does 80% of the time anyway!

Cheers for pointing me towards this Bobbitt, ya lucky bar steward:D
Sometimes I think the test sessions can be just as good as an actual race, as there is no pressure they can just give it the beans and see what the bikes can do....
Nice one for sharing:thumbs:
