Seeing as it's been a while since we had a local meet in and around exeter does anyone fancy a get together?? I've already spoken to ben and teggers and they both seem up for it:thumbs:
So far it's looking like a pub meet/meal at the Swan inn at Exminster.
No dates have been set in stone but I have added a poll so it's up to you guys :D

I can host a BBQ in my garage but some of the low cars might not get over the speedbumps :( Kev, I'm looking at you! And James had a bit of scrapeage the other week when he popped over briefly.
Kev would get in i think. We had a little low low comparison the other day and we aren't far off each other.
Plus the bit of my exhaust that scraped was the mid box which hangs down an inch or two below the rails. Abit more now that one of my hangers has snapped off the backbox!:cool:

I'm sure you could weld it back on :wack: Looking to go slightly lower myself shortly (is that Kev I hear cheering back there :D) but not much as I'll still have to deal with those bumps with a car loaded up with Bex, baby, baby paraphenalia and a bootfull of shopping :eek: Another 20mm down and I'll be happy.
I have a bit more clearance than that for the kit but need to sort my exhaust hangers out too as the downpipe and center box tend to catch if I go a bit too fast.

Ha ha this was just a suggestion as a lot of the people around exeter find the route 38 meet a bit far, trying to follow on from the success of the Taunton meet :)
Do you have an eat as much as you can buffet in Exeter?

I think you need to turn up in it, fully working, to avoid abuse :( :wack: I haven't turned up to a meet in my own s-body for a large number of months!
Back on topic... when I had just started at rarerims we met at a pub that did a carvery, eat all you can pile on your plate style, and it was well priced, lots of parking and very pleasant, even if the weather wasn't so much :wack:

Yup - still on! Will probably be only me though as I'm assuming it will be after work of an evening. Etienne goes to bed at 8. I'll only be there for a chat and a drink for about half an hour though due to baby and money constraints :(

My lights lasted until about half a mile from my house before they failed.
Safe to say the drive home was a little quicker than the drive up:D

Sod that for a laugh.. Get ben (evilchap) to take you out when his is back on the road. That thing shifts, will leave mine and teggers cars standing when it finally hits boost :D
I cant wait till I have a car that actually works and I can leave Plymouth :cry: The Pinin definitely wouldnt have made it... the front pipe has gone again! I might actually have to spend longer than 5mins fixing the thing :wack:

:nod: Had it turned down even on the 'high' setting (now down to 0.8 bar) as I'm hitting fuel-cut occasionally and need the map sorting :wack: I also need new rear tyres very soon and as I am driving to Wales tomorrow night, I didn't want to play on the bends/roundabouts and wreck what I have left ;)
I'll take you out again James, when the little niggles are sorted and I have new tyres :thumbs:
