Ok whos going?
I here the MR2 chaps are going, Im going, anyone else going?
Showcase, COVENTRY, just off the m6
2 Fast, 2 Furious, 2 Far IMO. All those bloody flamer kits in the trailer and the way they've completely ruined most of the cars in it with stupid graphics and bodykits, especially that Evo...
I'm not sure if I wanna see it at all TBH

bah, take it with a pinch, its all in the name of entertainment.... flamers or not it makes jap owners a lot more credible than the usual 'jap crap' comments
Am I the only one on the board who thought F&F1 was total crap?
I have no intention of making the same mistake twice. Besides, if I took the missus she'd probably want a flamer kit and neons on the E

No, you're right JB, it was total crap, but I did find it mildly entertaining, mainly because of the women in it ;)

First one was a poor imitation of point break plot-wise and there are only about a hundred better petrol-head flicks to see before that. Waste of time IMHO.

Gone is 60 Seconds was far better IMO.....

I loved the first one, especially through my max power Pug phase...
but watching it recently, a lot of it makes me laugh and cringe too...
no doubt this one will too, and totally miss the point, however its light hearted action, it has nice cars in, probably some fit chicks (please not all jap munters) and high speed fun
I wanna see it

That is exactly what I thought, and they made no attempt at all to try and cover the fact.
I will probably watch the second one although I wont pay to do so.
I thought the first was okay, nothing spectacular, and I was expecting to hate it.

So you going to see the sequel with your Corsa loving neighbours then? :p
You bet, then round the local 30mph roads for 70mph sprints

But then why would anyone wanna take it into space?
Cant imagine anyone wanting to spend that long in the presence of one.
Saying that would be fun seeing it burn up in the atmosphere :D

As long as it's sufficiently high enough for the C*rsa to reach it's terminal velocity, i.e. where acceleration due to gravity equals drag due to air resistance, which I would have thought would happen pretty quickly with something as brick-like as a C*rsa, then the height of the drop will make sod-all difference :)
Sorry, JB :p :D :D

But it still wont reach 70, lol Especially if it had nice Gary Boy wings on it for all the downforce they need in a built up 30mph area

I quite enjoyed the first one as long as you accept it for what it is, another Hollywood fantasy.
You still get to see lots of high spec jap machinery which cant be all bad!
Theres been a lot press about american kids watching the film then going out and driving dangerously, some scary statistics that traffic collisions are the leading cause of death for U.S. teenagers, accounting for 39 percent of all deaths between the ages of 16 and 19. (taken from IINC (http://www.iinc.org/news/auto/streetracing.html)
Drive safe!
I want to get a 12 speed gearbox like they have on F&F 1
It really is a bag of shite
I would rather have someone remove my toe nails with a pair of red hot pliers whilst pouring on vinegar into the wound, with a rather fat and smelly man squeezing sweat from his anal hair into my pegged open eyes whilst a rugby team shouts into both ears and urinating into pints pots which i eventually will be forced to drink.
all of this done on live TV with my parents watching...
This would be more entertaining than watching and cringing at Hollywood making my life worse by 'ricing' up the Japanese sports car market...
Just imagine what the poor bastards in Japan think of this shite...

True. :)
And interestingly, it would also be the only time a Corsa would accelerate as quickly as a 200 :D
Or anything else for that matter :)
 bye bye corsa
