Fantasic! :D :D
That reminds me of something round our way, the local council spent ££££'s on building layby's on all our dual carraige ways around Basildon for the police to sit in, each of them have signs saying 'Police vehicles Only' - yet with all this expense Ive never seen one police car using them.
Someone put up a sign saying 'Layby for sale, never used hence price' :D :D :D
It made the local paper but police soon took it down :(

Do a good job and no-one notices.
Do a bad job and everyone hates you.

Do a good job and they're doing their job.
Do a bad job and you should expect to be criticised.
I doubt anyone works in an environment when you get praise every time you do what you are paid for and ultimatley wanted to do.
Excellent...
However, they will just brush it off and nothing will change apart from the number of speeders:(

it depends what you define by a good job. if the police do a good job i'm sure they do get praise. but as "arresting burglars" is part of their job description its hardly going that extra mile. now, arresting burglars and breaking their ribs... that's going that extra mile. :D
i mean if you had your mobile phone grabbed out of your hand and a policeman gave chase, and managed to return it, i'm sure we'd all praise and thank the officer. except for the minor detail of the policeman being more interested in catching someone doing 31 in a 30 zone and therefore not being around

It didn't work for Tony Martin either, but good work none the less:thumbs:
He was one who shot the burglar in the back!

frankly, i don't care if tony martin is in trouble for it now... i'd follow suit, and once i'm inside it just gives me more opportunity to rid this world of disrespectful little scrotes. (think this is the wrong attitude to take in such a civil society? ah fvcking well  )
