Be good - it takes 1 second.
Please tell 10 friends to tell 10 friends today! The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman.
It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on "Fund Free Mammograms" for free (pink window in the middle). (There is nothing to sign up for and no cost to you.)
The corporate advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate a mammogram in exchange for advertising.
Here's the website - Pass it along to all your friends!!

I've seen medical research from several other countries (all with better cancer survival rates than here) say that breast screening done by x-ray is <40% accurate as well as the x-rays increasing the chance of getting cancer! I think that this is still ongoing research in canada and a few other places.
Done and will continue to daily.

Yep there's a good article in the new scientist about a new screening system using microwaves at varying frequencies. it has found that tumours vibrate at 400 hz and this machine can pick them up. it's about the size of a pringles tube and the scan can be done fully clothed. during trials it was over 90% acurate at picking up prostrate cancer and over 60% at picking up breast cancer. there trialing it on other areas know like lungs etc. all good news.
