We were watching a film,and Sharon smelt burning! with that her mum phoned who lives in ravenhill saying there was a big fire!Twas very hazy and smelly up by our house! :)

As much as I love my job, grass fires really do p*ss me off:mad: Been lucky so far this year but it's only a matter of time. Went to 8 last year and that was 8 too many.

Yes the annoying sh*ts that start 90% of them should be tied to a tree in the said field/fire and told,sorry all the appliences are busy! Cause thats what could happen to some other poor sod :mad:

Lol,yes my in laws were on the phone saying how big it was, we saw feck all the time we got out! although i did see it when it went up 2-3 years ago,massive flames! :eek:

Well so much for that, just got back from my first one this year! Blaen y Cwm mountain, the farmer lights it up every year to burn off ticks but lets it get out of control. luck it was only a small one in comparison, still took 3 hrs though:(
