Beware - I was BEHIND a dark blue 3.2V6 Omega last night at a set of lights on the ringroad (9.30pm) and it took a lot of checking (I was curious) before I could make out the little box on the rear parcel shelf - the one that "Police Stop" lights up on).

A motorbike was alongside of this car for a good minute and even HE didn't suss it was Plod!

Biker zipped off the lights and Plod let him go until flooring it and pulling him.

Nice to see them racking up those stats on a dry, empty, clear DC in the sunshine.........

Lesson: Speed through a village - you might run someone over but you'll never get caught for speeding

Thanks for the warning Ripper

So many roundabouts on that bloody road it's amazing anyone (other than 2***** owners ;) ) manages to get up to, let alone beyond the speed limit on there anyway

I didn't take Pointblank out a few months ago at a Longwell meet and we didn't manage 148 on the clock between two of the roundabouts .

That would have been a good effort ;) If you had of done that, would it have been in your car or Pointblank's?

Our local plod have recently got one of these (maybe Vauxhall are doing plod a deal on blue ones at the mo.

I've seen it 3 times.

The first time it had pulled over a Corsa boy (wooohoo, reeeeeeeeeeesult).

The second time it was parked on the outside of a mini roundabout blocking the road to 2 way traffic as it's passenger was in a newsagents.

The third time it was parked just over the brow of a hill and the car in front of me nearly ploughed in the back of it.

Highly qualified police drivers. The knights of the road   :notworthy

NOT

It would have been in my car - had we have done it ;)

Pointblank did praise my car's performance, which I took as a compliment!

But now it's poorly......
