That's S14 - not S14a :p

I'm looking to swap my track S14 alloys for steelies - and I believe you 'orrible lot have steels as your full size spares :)

I'm sticking this up locally for now to save the fun and games of postage, but if anyone has an S14 steel wheel and would like to swap it for an alloy then let me know
I can have your own tyre transfered to the alloy you're swapping with me as I'll want a matching set of tyres when I'm finished. Also my track tyres themselves are semi bald and in many cases, punctured so you don't want them :wack:

The alloys in question are obviously in a used condition - they're dirty and have the odd sign sign of kerbing from previous owners - but arn't kinked as far as I can tell (multiple trackdays with no juder beyond my normal shagged out brakes:whip:)

If anyone just happens to have a stash of S14 steels (for drifting or whatever) and just wants to do a mass swap/sell them to me then let me know

Anyone interested can PM me or reply on here - I'll be happy to take pics of the alloy collection to show they arn't all fooked :smash:

Also - Mr Bristol Blue! I still have the 2 wheels you lent me:whip: I'll have to give 'em back soon now as I've moved garages :)

How many of these have you got Tim? I could do with one for my spare now I have 5-stud but I don't have an S14 steel to give you.

I have monies though! Or an S13 facelift wheel if you like :wack:

I've got 4 of them - trouble is I need to swap them all before the 'Ring trip in May so I'm not sure I can risk just selling you 1 :wack:

Your S13 facelift wheel would ba about as much use as my S13 4 stud spacesaver :p (which I could do with selling now really BTW ;))

Why do you need 4 steels anyway - they lighter than the alloys or something?

Sender

Because he wants to have steelies

Tim if you still want mine we can swap them (as long as your alloys got legal rubber) on tue

You're the man Sender :notworthy

They don't have legal rubber yet, but as your wheels probably do I can fit something to them if you'd like  Any preferences that won't cost the earth? :smash:

Are they the same dimensions as normal S14 alloys? As I could just transfer your rubber onto my old wheels (I want to buy something new and V good in rain so I don't kill myself at the ring! :wack:) while having some new uniroyals/Conti's or summat fitted to the steels :)

I have two steel wheels (really tempted to get them banded but not happened in a year so probally never will happen!)

if you want to swap a pair then that cool with me, in over near keynsham

nope mine are 15" :( so no chance of transferring tires

Cheers for the offer but as Sender has 4 matching wheels I'll go with him
If it falls through for some reason then I'll get back in touch :)

Really? on an S15? :wack:

Still interested though - if anything it should make buying tyres after trackdays cheaper (I hope!)
What preference do you have for tyres then? I deffo need 2 of mine replaced due to punctures, without going and looking I'll be suprised if the remaining tyres are legal.
As much as I want steelies I'm not fitting F1's or owt for you unless you're going to help me fund them! :p :D

Question is Tim, will they fit over S14 4-pots? I'd imagine Sender's S15 will have had single pot front brakes as standard.

One way to find out ;)
I'm guessing it shouldn't be as tight as with say S13 alloys, steels tend to have thinner walls/more space inside - if they don't fit then I'll just have to go back to finding S14 steel spares :)

PM Ch1ef - he has had that many wheel brake combos he has probably tried it. You willing to grind the calipers and add spacers for extra clearance?
