HI All

I heard the M1 is shut, Here is the new about the accident (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2003/06/11/umway3.xml&sSheet=/portal/2003/06/11/ixportaltop.html).

The thing is I passed this vehicle at around about 7:20am and the accident happened at 7:25am. I think I am lucky that I do speed a little bit or otherwise this could have been me.

I heard it on the radio this morning... That was very lucky mate... These incidents are happening too much due to tosser... I take it that most ppl on the motorway will still be there... not nice... I got stuck in the jam on the M1 last year on the way home from billing for about 3 1/2 hours... Not great fun but a bit sureal having a kip on the M1 at 4pm in the afternoon... hehehe!

Whats also bad is I am having a Birthday meal with my family tonight and I have got to get back to hemel by 19:30.

I am thinking M42 then M40 followed by the M25 into hemel. Sounds like Fun.

Apparently the lorry carrying the APCs had to swerve to avoid someone who cut him up, and it jacknifed. Must have been horrific. And yes, by the sound of things caused by simple bad driving.

Imagine hitting an APC at 80mph... even in the US a Chevy Suburban would be like tin foil. Well... it might scratch the tank a bit.
