What are you welding?

Drilled through the overfender and metal on mine and seated the rivets in place and popped either side of the arch first followed by the top one and then filled in the others.

Easy as pie, doesn't take long to do at all.

i think he means cutting away at the s13 body work under the the jun arches so you can lower the car enough without scrubbing...

if you look around on the project threads, people have shown how they have cut away at it and welded up the arch nicely.

Though i believe Andy is just gonna be a man and dig in with his limited welding knowledge :D

You'd be better off speaking to the man himself, it does look tidy under there now :) and i believe he has complete pictures

Yeah, this is what I meant, thanks. Not sure if Matt will want to go down that route, but I'd have thought it would be the best way of going about it.

Pretty sure there is a welder at work I can borrow if you could do the welding.

Let's get on to Matt at the meet next week.

Yeah, they are becoming more and more popular. I wish I fitted mine when I got them in the summer. At least then I wouldn't look like I am copying a trend:wack:

Wont be bad seeing a few more around though, means this time next year there should be a whole load of wheels in the for sale section with killer offset:D

Heya! Haha yea looks like these archs have been making a increase, been after these for a while and finally decided to get them. Going over a set of Rota RB 9.5 -19 17" wheels, probably need a 10mm sip on or so.

Car has been derusted, welded, cleaned, metal readied, por15, and them 3m stonechipped. Will have a second layer going on of the 3M tomorrow, going to clean out the inside and primer it, finish dicking with the arches as they need some fettling to get fitted.

Should be a wide bodied car at the end, keeping it stage3 to keep things safe. :)
