has anyone being on holiday there? me and a couple of mates are thinking of going for a long weekend there, so far we have narrowed it down to Gdanske, Krakow or Wraclaw, if anyones being and has any advice on where to stay and which areas to visit/stay away from it would be much appreciated.

been to poznan. lovely city in the old part but very industrialised on the outskirts.

nice people, food was varied from exceptionally good to a bit ropey so be careful.

prices were better than uk. local beer gives you a ****ing bad headache but is easy to drink!! loval spirits could run a car they are that strong

Transport is cheap in Poland, but mind a trip of a couple of hundred miles from Wraclaw to Zakopane could take a day.....

But Wraclaw is great... There are some grim bits but the good outweighs them.

And polish girls are :smitten: much like their decent vodka. Beer isn't so bad either, just make sure you drink a goodun

Edited t osay, Zakopane is full of girls also
