alloy refurb

hi guys i am looking for someone to refurb/spray my alloys but most peeps ive spoken to have said they wouldn like to do it as prepping would be a pain know any reasonable places loacal to yeovil/shepton/gillingham

Develop - What sort of money would you be looking at to do a set that the edges are kerbed on (not for my 200sx but a set of 17" I got for the wifes motor) as they are off the car at the moment as I'm currently trying to sort it out?

They are super advans I might get a few pics up later there may be a few tiny keen marks nothin serious stall just need prepping and respray really 2pac paint would be preferered

I have SA3R's that I want re-furbed as well. Mine are silver with a dimond cut rim. I spoke to Lepsons in Swindon who will re-furbish the wheels but not in the 2 tone finish I want.
They acid dip the wheels rather that blast and then powder coat so the finish is very good. If you've got someone that will do you the 2 tone finish maybe you could get Lepsons to prep them?

They did the wheels on my wifes ST170 which were corroded to the point of leaking air and they come out great.

I don't think they will collect from wincanton but there must be someware near you that offers the same service. Try contacting a engineering shop and asking if they know anyone that can acid dip/strip alloy wheels.

You want to try and aviod bead blasting if you can as it doesn't give a finish as smooth

ok thanks for the tip sx i might be able to in blandford but id need to get them sand blasted,dont really like bead or sand blasting
