After chatting to Gav today,i thought i'd put up a poll to see which way the meets should go! after a turnout of just 5 members today, are we suggesting the wrong things or is it just the time of year/Weather/Cars not running etc?
So if you could vote on which way you want to go this year,we can see if meets can be improved!
Cheers Du Management! :wack:

Fuel doesn't grow on trees.

OK, well it did, just a few millions of years ago.

Im happy to leave it as it was last year

With the baby/work/hobbles/money/weather and the mrs working it's kind of tight to find time to work on the car so meets tend to be at the back of the list sorry.

I managed to get loads done today as the Mrs took Rocco out, so me wasting quiet time by going to a meet was not going to happen

But no fear when the weather starts to get better im sure more people will be attending events ;)

Voted same as last year as I don't see any problems with the locations, The only reason I don't make it to more meets is work commitments.

I think it's best as it is, as it gives people from different areas the chance to get to meets that are otherwise to far for them to travel to.

The weathers not much help at the moment for a lot of people and the meets would get a bit boring if they were in the same place month after month.

Once the car is on the road i'll have a bit more motivation to come along! Will be gaining another S body to the family shortly.

Bought the missus a very low mileage S15 Spec R to replace the long standing Elise but then she discovered the Varietta so keep your eye's peeled for the next project! Got a few things to get done first like my car, lol.

I am very much in the same boat as Vidal, working 5 days a week and family dosen't give you a lot of time.
I will attend a few meets in the summer as I dont use the 200 in the winter months. Always good to pick peoples brains as well... and unload loads of 200 parts!!

Please note that this thread is not a dig at people not making meets! Its purely to see if we are doing anything wrong, and that people "dont want" to come to meets!
I'm only there most of the time cause i'm off shiftwork atm and don't have kids! :)

Oh a verietta eh Phill, nice :smitten: give me first dibs once you've turbo'd it and the missus has got bored with it

I am always up for the meets if i am around but it sounds sad but work comes first at the moment , unless its after 6.30 , so may be some thing in the summer months or when we had the meet in the cockle shell , its all about timing for me , but they are a good laugh:nod:

I like the idea of evening meets, maybe even give a week night a shot?

Dont the Midland guys do a midweek?
