Come on then, who's got what planned?

I'll be going in August, weather and track were perfect last year, got a nice tan! :wack:

I think a big SXOC roadtrip would be cool, even if your not going to go round the track (:ghey:) from a petrol head point of view it is amazing.
The cars, the atmosphere etc is brilliant.

And for anyone into off-roading, there is a course in an old quarry just outside the Ring, its probably the best laugh I've ever had in a car :wack:

i will be going at some point this year but when i can not say. a friend goes atleast once a month and has bought a house about 20 miles from the ring so he keeps nagging me to go in his skyline and split the cost but would rather wait til my car is ready.

He got any spare beds?
Could be a money maker there!

i'll put the idea across to him, the usally go in the 32gtr, split the cost 4 ways (obviously 4 people) and do 2 laps each. ;last trip only cost them £140 each:eek:

Im there in August this year again! :)
Saw a couple of UK SXs there last August.

Agreed that the trip is far more than just hammering your car around the ring.
Its in a really nice place, some awesome places to eat and not to mention the 'Bitburger' beer!
Be nice to see some of your guys there.

What are the various costs? Transport, accommodation, track itself etc?

Hotel - approx 30 Euro's a night
Crossing - £100ish return on the ferry (depending on how long you go for you can go via the Chunnel for that)

The track is about 20 Euro's a lap depending on how many laps you buy at one time. You need to budget for about 1000 miles worth of fuel (depends on where you are in the country) and obviously you'll get through a fair bit on track.

Food and beer are fairly cheap though!!

Think we paid 90 euros a night for a twin room, with breakfast etc. That's in Adenau, small town with a PERFECT 10 min warm up drive up a twisty road.
Ferry about £100 if you book late, get in early and you can do it for almost half that.
Single laps were about 23 euros last year. Fuel over there is about the same price I think, can't remember.
Food prices vary, can pay 20 odd euros for a awesome steak, or 6 euros for a massive mountain of chinese.
Don't forget brake down, travel insurance etc. And also money for stuff to do when your not on track.
Value for money = Camp 4 fun. Best 40 euros you will ever spend

That sounds more accurate though.

I can't stress enough how you need to go to camp4fun, never laughed so hard. It is expensive, its easily the price of a holiday away for a week. But trust me, you'll never forget a trip there.
