Hi Folks, My Dad is looking for a laptop.
He has £400 give or take a bit to spend, He went to buy one of these today from ALDI but they had none left

What decent laptops are there for circa £400, Plus most new laptops seem to come with Windows 7 on them, What is it like? Things like software antivirus etc.

howabout a better processor and a brand name - you can get lots of machines with a c2duo for 400-500
windows 7 is nice, all the shiny bits of vista, with the speed of XP :) yes, there may be the odd driver issue with bizzare or old hardware, but nothing too serious...
