Browser bookmarks - possible to store them online?

The title doesn't explain it that well but what I'm wondering is if there's a way of keeping your bookmarks with you so no matter where you go you'll always have access to them.

It would have to be a service that you'd sign in to. Maybe Chrome supports this or there's a firefox add-on?

Anyone?

Not sure about online but if you really wanted them, you could whack them on a memory stick or even a mobile?

Yeah found a couple of ways to do it. Google toolbar and xmarks (FF add-on).

I dont get how this is easier :confused:

if you store them online, then when you are about and you go to a web cafe ? ... or to a different computer, then you have to remember a web address of the add on for the particular browser you are using ie Chrome, IE, safari, Opera, firefox etc etc. then you need to get admin rights on that PC or Mac to install it.

then you can call up your bookmarks


wouldnt it be quicker just to write the address down, remember it, keep in in your webmail, USB, etc ???

Yeah this /\ /\. If I did want them to be truly mobile I'd use igoogle bookmarks.
