Anyone going on Sunday? Got a free ticket from a Halfords promotion run in the sunday papers a few weeks back with a vougher for a further £15 off a second admission!:cool: Means we save £40 on the gate!:D Prolly cost that in petrol to get there and back tho!:cry:
Where is the best place to spectate at Silverstone? I thought in the complex, somewhere near the last few corners or at the end of Hanger straight?

I think the complex is the best place. You see the cars the longest and theres always incidents around there.

Yep, I did the same and got a free ticket, so I'll be going as well:D

It's a few years since I last went to Silverstone and I think that the closest that you could get to the track, was one or two corners before the straight.

The trouble with Silverstone is because it's used for F1, the run-off areas and gravel traps are huge :( so you can't get as close to the action as you can at say, Brands Hatch.

Still, it's a great atmosphere being there:D and you can see it on TV the next week to see what actually happened and who came where:rolleyes: :D
