A lad local to me has an S13 with front end damage, I will get some photo's up later today, but he wants to sell it as a whole rather than break it up as he has nowhere to store it, thought somebody local might benefit from it before I stick it in the breakers section. It is dark blue J reg, 66,0000 miles on the clock and completely standard except for the 17" alloys.

How much front end damage is it?

What do you need? The damage is front end only, bonnet, bumper, passenger wing and radiator. The engine is in tact and the rest of the body work looks mint. I have taken photo's but my computer is fooked so I'm using a friends laptop at the moment just need to find the disk to upload them.

And as you can see it is an L reg not a J reg:wack:

I'm not an expert but yes I don't think it would take much for it to be put right, the lad who owns it is only young and can't afford the repairs. (he only had the car 3 months)

That is the question:nod:

He wanted £800 - £900, which is a little ambitious IMO. He has been told he has to move the car from where it is by the end of the week and he has no where to store it so he needs a quick sale. I think he will have to come down with the price so make him an offer and see what he says.

His mobile number is 07595418658, he's not a member but if you've got any questions just drop me a message.

I think he is dreaming at the lower end of what he is asking

A full inspection may reveal that it's a turd that's been polished and rolled in glitter.

Hope it's a nice car though as a few hundred quid and a few weeks of late nights would have it back to straight again.

If the rest of the car is in good condition with no horror stories then i would give him £250 tops

i was thinking the same as babboon really as its standard as well as long as there ant any nastys then it wcould be a mint car with not much work agian. could be a good steel for some one but not at that price really

I am meeting him later today and will let him know what the general opinion on here is and see if he's willing to lower the price, I don't think he will drop that low though. If I had more space in my garage I would take it myself as a little project car as it is(was) a lovely little low mileage motor.

He may sell for more outside of the club as they may not know what to look for ;)

Just looking at the pictures alone i can spot the following issues.

- Boot lid has gone in the usual places and will require immediate attention.
- Both sills have gone on the seams beneath the doors (usually leads to further damage where not visible)
- Both turret tops are gone along wing sides
- Driver side turret front has rotted through and Pass side does not look far behind

Then there is the repair and im guessing it will need a jig due to the nature of the head on smash it's had and condition of the turrets, but could be wrong

All in, on the cheap i would estimate £1000 to £1500 worth of repair work required.

Add the lowest of his purchase price onto that and you could go out and buy a nice straight 13 or even a 14

Just an idea of what he is up against

All need money spending BUT you wont have to repair the smash

As i mentioned £250 would be a fair price for it going by the pictures but on inspection that may even turn out to be a bit much.
