mine has to be valentino rossi vs jorge lorenzo at GRAN PREMI CINZANO DE CATALUNYA
it was an awesome race but the last 5 laps were unreal:cool: then when rossi shoved it up the inside on the last corner on the last lap sent me giddy even the missus was on the edge of her seat and was jumping round like head case with me when rossi won the funny thing is she hates moto gp:D

Colin Turkington finally winning the BTCC in the last 3 races of the season .... massive car punch up between Plato, Giovanardi and turkers all fighting to win the championship.

And some serious sideways moments 90deg slides down the track with a Plato stuck in the side of him .. AND he still holds on to win !!!!! :notworthy:

Good effort and to be winning the U17 at 13 suggests a lot more success to come!!

Three highlights would be Pacquioa v Cotto for a stunning boxing display from the world P4P champ. Button at Brazil for not sitting back and playing the safe and easy game to win the title, but going out and driving like a true champion. Usain Bolt running 9.58 in Berlin, beating Gay who also ran a stunning time of 9.71 but looked in a different league to Bolt. :notworthy

No-one yet mentioned JB's world championship? For me, one of the best sporting moments of the year - don't watch much, would rather do it!

I was sooo happy for him grinning all over when he finished the penultimate race and won the championship. Especially after saying on Top Gear previously (whilst still driving for Honda) that he would give it all up (Monte Carlo lifestyle etc) for that first win. Then he wins and wins and goes on to win the world championship!

TBH, not really been involved in much sport this year - too much time preparing for little ones arrival and subsequent lack of sleep/spare time.

Ultimate Legend! I dont think anyone else will match what he has achieved and will achieve in mountainbiking. I also hope to see him win the champs some more times....

Also, Shaun Palmer returning to DH after a massive black spot in his lift. Met the legend in Whistler and he was surprisingly normal:nod:

For me it has to be Jenson Button - the whole season

Amazing start - fairy tale stuff, from absolutely nothing to 6 wins on the bounce. From one minute not having a drive, to the next minute winning everything in sight

Yeah, ok, dropped off a bit in the middle to late season, but not for the want of trying.

That penultimate race - what was it, 4, 5 absolutely first class overtakes? The drive of a world champion.

Down to earth guy, from a down to earth family, no arrogance to the man - a great champion, a great year - a great racer to watch.

Anything where Bolt is running is going to be a special event.
Still cant believe the runs he did for 100 and 200mtrs, just epic.

As for button.... hmm nope... i quite like the chap but his lack of pace halfway though the season showed he still needs work to become a true great like the big german fellow....

Thanks for the nice words Stu a lot of people who know more about the sport than i do say the same thing

Any ways just got back from the Anglesey / Gwynedd County sports awards and Menai picked up 3 awards including Runner up Sports Person of the Year and our little Judo club picked up 2 for Team of the year and Coach`s of the Year which against the big local sports of Rugby and ~Football quite amazing :D

Brill vid there! Very nice! I have to say, for me it was JB getting World Champ status, i think he deserved it after all these years, he really did work hard, along with Brawn to get the championship! Im excitied for next year with Schey back though!
