I have totally forgotten about my mot which is due to run out in the next few days.

can anyone recomend me a sx friendly garage to take my car to next week.

yes i thought about him after i had booked mine in!!

mine failed on the bloody front side lights/indicators being orange.

and looks likeive thrown away the std ones, :annoyed:

so i have to either take it to the auctions or find a set of std front lights asap.

God how fussy are they getting!!! Failed on orange indicators??? I thought they were meant to be orange?

lol no silly,

my clear front bumper lights shine orange for both side lights and indicators,

you cant have orange side lights, they must shine clear/white light.

been searching through my parents garage whilst home for xmas but i cant find the std ones, so im abit buggered!!

so why are the side lights shining orange? Is it because the bulb from the indicator is making it look orange? Or is it an orange bulb? Im trying to help think of a way round it thats all.

side lights shine orange as its a twin filiment orange bulb in the clear lense,

eugh, :ghey: no way round it i can think of, apart from std ones like youve suggested :(
ive text my mate with a track s13 to see if i can yoink his for ya :thumbs:

i will as a last resort but i have already paid for my mot so this time i would rather just get hold of a pair of side lights and get the re test,

and in future i will take the car to auctions for mot, im there twice a week anyway and totally forgot he had a 200sx, what a tit!!

no unfortunatly not, matt cheers for all your help bud, but just by chance my dad had seen my std bumper lights in the garage and put them to one side, so looks like im sorted,

and this problem ive had, has made me think we need a 200sx friendly recomended garage sticky thread in here, for all us locals

Ahhh glad to hear you got it sorted :D
Im in agreement with finding a 13/14/15 friendly garage, ive asked my uncle regarding it so he should come back to me with some numbers at some point :thumbs:

took Nelly back to the garage today and she passed!! YAY.

which is a super huge relief as the tax ran out tomorrow :wack:

all road legal for another year......:thumbs:
