As above i got this annoying redirect thing on my google searches ive tried all the usuall stuff, malwarebytes detected no infected items same as win defender and spybot, I have reset the browser back to defaults and doesnt make any difference either, its IE7. Not sure where to go from here its redirecting me to other unknown search engines.

Any ideas?

'hijack this', do a search, download, and run.

Will kill all your IE setting, but gets rid of everything.

Its considered harsh, but man its good, as long as your prepeared to lose certain settings.

Use firefox. :wack:
I would also check your host. file (windows/system32/drivers/etc) and see if it has any odd references (it should be near empty)

Good luck.

I had a cracker once, tried everything, couldnt get rid.

As above, Firefox ftw..

ah well cant find it was waiting for a good time to install windows 7 looks like this is the right time lol

One other thing i have now installed win 7 32bit ultimate all running great apart from one annoying thing every now and then my network adapter goes strange and decides it doesnt have an internet connection anymore, pops up with limited connectivity and all my net access stops, theres nothing wrong with my network setup as its fine on the other 2 laptops i have, im assuming its somthing to do with windows 7 anyone ever come accross this problem with it?

network controller is nvidia nforce 570
