southern downhill is cool, although a lot of kiddies dont engage their brain before typing, quite like pinkbike.com (my buddies in the states are good frinds with Luc, the guy that started it all lol)!

I dont think there are 'lifestyle' forums, for people that like the same genre of sports and music etc...(but it is a very niche thing to have, and i dont think would work)

although some forums act as a hub for many different people. I quite like the sxoc, we have a good mix of people with likeminded hobbies (Im a mountain biker, but i rarely post on sdh or pinkbike as some people cant have a mature conversation at all), sure every forum has its uppers and downers, but its all about getting the right mix:thumbs:

My cynical side has kicked in, seeing the amount of screen devoted to adverts on the bicycling forum.

Is this a 'how can i make money on the internet' question ?

edit: just making sure I'm subscribed properly to this thread, in case I have to sue as I thought of it first. :)
