As I cant afford any Pioneers, I think i'm going to get some DJ software and controllers.

Anyone have any experience with either?
Is it just like using Decks/Mixer?

I've had a play with Virtual DJ, but its not the same with a mouse :wack:

Ive been delving into Serato Scratch Live Pro recently. So you can mix a vinyl that replicates any mp3 on your comp. You get the vinyl in your hand feel but with no vinyl costs associated. I had a mix today using a mouse with Virtual DJ and its not enjoyable at all. Awaiting a good Serato deal........

Serato Rules.
Virtual DJ is only good for house partys and putting it on AUTOMIX, And for that you might as well just use itunes DJ.

MAudio Torq FTW !!!

The Expensive One

The Cheaper One

Both will be awesome :)

A mate of mine uses Traktor with a Oxygen MIDI controller...weird setup, but cheap!

Me personally, if I was starting out, I'd get the entry level Torq. If I actually had a gig lined up, or realisticly planned to do a set, I'd get the fancy one, it would pay for itself in 2 gigs, so why the hell not? :D

Are they just like using normal decks? You can use headphones too?
That second one doesn't have jog wheels, how does that work?! :wack:
