whatever happened to the saying 'din't slag it 'till you try it'!!!

My work colleagues won't accept the fact that im going to tune my car and constantly slag me off about it.

Why d'ya want a loud exhaust when yours is nice and quiet!!!
what's the point in tuning your your car, it will just affect reliability!!!
your fuel consumption will be shite!!!
your insurance will go up!!!!

what they don't realise is that i DONT CARE, i wish they'd just f*ck off and watch their sh*te star trek and read their comic books and stop slagging me off just 'cos i have a proper hobby and am allowed to spend spend my spare money on it rather than spending it on a bird/wife/house:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

Rant over, just needed to get it out of my system:) :)

Just take them out in it, that'll shut em up.

I gave a lift to my work mate a couple of days back, i was in 3rd under boost, and gave it a little tap up to 3.5k max, and he said in all seriousness "feel the g's"

I then booted it while he was in mid conversation, he then stopped talking and grabbed the door handle as i scared the living poo outta him :thumbs: :thumbs:

You could justify it by saying that you enjoy the thrill of acceleration but after a while you get used to it so need to increase the power thereby increasing the acceleration in order to enjoy the car more :D
