Facebook chat issue on iphone

Hi all, i have an issue with facebook chat on the iphone, i can chat but they cant chat back as i appear off line although i appear on line in the online friends list. Theres no issues at all if i use my laptop, its just on my iphone. Ive gone to the extremes of doin a restore as a new phone and formatted the laptop (needed doin anyway lol) but it still persists.
Anyone ever come across this before.

its because you have been logged in on a pc, it gets confused. I found if you sign out from a pc first it helps.

Still doin it lol. Logged off on laptop n still doin it, brother has logged me off on my pc at home but its still doing it :confused:
