I guess you could just drop the subframe and replace it with another one?

Edit - BTW, HICAS isn't that bad once you accept that the car will try and kill you coming off any corner  . I had hours of fun fishtailing up roads in the liner.

As far as im concerned you do not want hicas ive driven several cars with rear wheel steer and they were so much better with it removed I think its there to help people that will never drive a car hard stay on the road.

Wierd. How would I know if mine does? I reckon not as there's no light on the dash like in the skylines.

mines says in the center of the steering wheel super hicas also theres a hicas light on the dash

and if you look underneath the rear you can see what looks like a steering rack between the 2 rear wheels

rear wheel steer is ok if you drive a flat bed trailer thats about half a mile long. thats it

Yep. Hicas lockout bat is easiest, but DW total eliminator is best. But you might struggle getting the balljoints out of the back of your hubs. If you've got ramps and tools though it's only a few hours work :)

Oh and a bit more effort if you've got steering fluid lines running to the rear rack instead of an electric one as you have to loop these together.

Hmm i was thinking of doing this to my 300 as the advisory sheets have shown slight play in the system for past 2 years. I think mines is hydraulic so does that mean looping lines

Ah, not on mine so. Probably for the best from what I've heard!

Just to add my 2cents. I just swapped the subframe for a uk s13, ends up cheaper than a lock out bar and a better solution.
Plus I just happened to have one I'd already polybushed ;)
