not gonna put it in the sale section just yet, as am trying to avoid having to post it....
Brand new machine, XP Pro or Vista Business..... around the £250 mark
details provided if your interested :)
I'm looking for a Laptop. Needs a serial port though.
Got any of those lying around?

whats the spec dude? was looking at building another machine soon but it's gonna be a gaming pc so either i7 chip or phenom depending if i'm going amd or intel :)

can get a laptop for around £150 mark.. decent spec, and am sure it has serial (HP 6320)
Desktop is a HP DC5800 (tower, top end PC, not the bottom spec) - buy a decent PCI-E graphics card to go in it, there u go, decent gaming machine, which is what i have at home, except i use 4gb instead of 2gb ram :)

do u actually know what chip and board is in there mate? what type of ram i.e DD2, 3? harddrive (is it sata? how big what rpm etc etc)
u got the specs?

screens are hard to get, and yeah, paul is in-line for one, but each tft i get back, are all nailed :(

e8400 dual processor (3ghz on each)
as said, slap in a decent graphics card, and u got a high power gaming machine :)
That's a bagain mate! If I hadn't just built myself a nice machine i'd have been interested in that.
Which reminds me (sorry to jump on your thread) - Dell machine, bought it about 4 years ago. It's quite basic, got 2 gig of ram. Comes with a brand new Dell mouse and keyboard - £80.
