hi,
went to cardiff today, going down a DC (A50) a little over the speed limit on the speedo, saw a van @ the bottom of the hill and it wasn't until i got close that i noticed what it was and i'm not sure if i slowed down in time :(

However after this i checked and there were no warning signs on the side of the road, i thought that there needed to be a speed camera sign 100yrds from the speed camera, please say i'm right:eek:

i'd like to know whats so dangerous about a straight DC anyway:mad:

Please help, i don't want 3 points :( :(

Andy

I've got 2 other people in the car who helped check for signs on the way back going the other way if that helps

you may want to check the assoc. british drivers (http://www.abd.org.uk/) website, they have a lot of info there.

I thought they got round this loophole by putting a sign on every road into a town, thus making it all one revenue gathering area.

As far as I know there doesn't have to be sign, any more than there has to be a sign for a rozzer with a laser gun.

The signs are mainly deterrents.

Turbopete may know, though he's been quiet lately
