Welders?

Any decent welders in the area?

I really want to get my car back on the road and it needs some welding doing in the usual 14a places (rear of sills) for the MOT.

I am more than happy to pay good money for a good job, and it must be a good a job:nod:

I DO NOT want a plate slapped on top, I want the rust cut out and the replaced, properly:nod:

Any (first hand) recomendations?:)

Combe motors did quite a bit of wielding on mine last year. Some basic underside stuff and a really awkward large area up inside by the rear suspension mountings.

Can't complain at all with the work done. However I am not sure if they still have their wielder guy there. You'll need to phone them to find out:

I've also had weilding done by Brooklands Garage in Bristol. I'm sure if you speak with them about what you are wanting done they'll either oblige or say they can't take it on. 0117 9681615

They are a garage that I have used for years for non tuning regular car work. They are a friendly bunch, have never bullshitted me and are quite reasonably priced.

I believe one of the guys there ownes a 200 and was in the process of restoring another.
