View Full Version : Mycroft
Just been reading a thread on the GTR board.
Puh-lease can we allow Mycroft back? :D :D :D We could limit him to a special sub-section or something... :D

No, not a chance, never, when hell freezes over, over my dead body.

I like the bloke, he has style ;) I'd love to see him let loose on some of the maxflower style board's but fear it would go straight over there heads.
He lives in the same town as me - any one know what colour his soarer is? I saw a hideous red one yesterday with stickers all over it - seen is about before too...

Also ask him a serious question and you will get a serious answer im sure...
He may or may not know things. He certainly gives the impression that he does, yet... he often fails to provide data to back up his argument and he gets very aggressive to those who have a different point of view.
He also takes great pleasure in belittling people and making very personal insults. It's not fun, funny or interesting. It's pathetic.
Whilst I don't mind choosing to view his threads on the boards that are still willing to have him, I would not want him back on here causing trouble and casting sexual innuendo around at those who don't accept everything he says as gospel. In fact I feel so strongly about it that if he were allowed back then I would stop using the board.
Just MHO.

Oh and the best bit LOL..
My car is better than all of yours, 370hp twin turbos, 0-100k 5 secs, 0-100-0 in 14secs, 1/4 in low, really low 12's.

I find it hard to believe that is actually Mycrofts car, AFAIK, he has never turned up to any track days, rolling road shoot-outs etc. Infact, I dont think he has ever been seen in the flesh by any-one on any of the boards he posts on?

Whilst I agree, he most definitely exists, as no-one has seen him in the flesh, how do we know he`s not a 13yr old boy, or a 90yr old woman???
I must say though, a lot of his posts do seem to contain a lot of knowledge and he is often very funny but he does take a great deal of pleasure from winding people up.

exists yeah but avoids, i challenged him last year to say hello at Billing as he said he was going, however no amount of looking around the soarer stand could locate him, he prefers it that way for sure - thing about him is he has an ENORMOUS chip on his shoulder, the knowledge he has he uses against people, and if you do disagree or provide another arguement he does throw his rattle outta the pram, whatever ahs happened to him in life to make him like that is just plain sad, and no way on earth would he change his ways so no way is he welcome on this BB from my point of view, he likes things his own way - sxoc says NO to mycroft:)

yeah but keith you DO have to admit that a soarer is of superior design, power and capability than that of a supra TT, in fact the soarer is better looking as well as being more versatile, in FACT anyone who buys a supra over a soarer is just plain stupid and needs repeatedly bashing with a shovel, and that includes you, maybe you need more of a bashing cos you have bought two:p;)
3 if you include my old MKIII! Maybe I need JCBing?

I was under the impression they had? There was a thread on the GTR board about a comedy club he went to, I think he met some people from the GTR board there maybe?

But he does have a reputation..
From Scoobynet
Mycroft,
<realizing that giving you more attention may not be a good thing, for your own sake, mentally>
I'm one of those people who admired your knowledge on the famous "Optimax/Octane" thread on GTIR. It's obvious you are clever.
You are also responsible for the biggest BS about fuel in internet history BTW, making people believe that their tank full of Optimax might degrade in a matter of hours. Not your responsibility to educate ? Then shut up and don't talk in riddles.
Wow, what a rep to uphold. :D:notworthy :notworthy :notworthy

after reading the personal insults and other crap that he has posted on other BB's i think he should stay banned from here. if anyone else acted in the way he does they would be banned too, why should he be a special case just cos some people find him amusing ?
he gives me the impression he is a total :tosser:
I take it that's a no then, from the collective? ;) :D :D
I had visions of:
Technical - s13
Technical - s14
Technical - Mycroft's cr@p
I'll have to continue to enjoy the GTR forum from time to time, then :)

Thank f*** for that. The bloke is a plank. I've said it before and i will say it again, i am amazed that other BB's still tolerate him.
One of Mycrofts best threads was on the Lotus Elise BB, as I recall. A few of them really threw their toys out of their prams and things got quite ugly. It all started with a thread about a GTR trackday at Rockingham which they appeared to share with the Elise OC. Anyone remember it? It was most amusing and ended up about five pages long as I recall.

TBH I wouldn't want him back here either, though I love reading some of his stuff.
But we could have a section for Mycroft links...... there must be hundreds of gems out there! :D

However, just imagine if he'd been doing that to us. I agree that thread was very funny, but it's not very nice to go on a club bb and do something like that.
Billy: great idea :D :D :D :D :D But it might encourage him to log on here under an assumed name :(

He might do that anyway, but it wouldn't take long to spot him, would it?
How long can he go without using the words "Soarer" or "Research Institute"? And you'd only have to suggest that you have one of the best handling cars in the world to blow his cover...:notworthy :notworthy :notworthy :D
