Yeah, was thinking about it a month or so ago. What do people want, though?
Traditional?
Like last year at the old spot, only somewhere better with an actual menu larger than 3 dishes. I hear the Carvery at The Dog at Over is great.
Curry?
I did enjoy the meal we had at Curry on the Corner in Cheltenham last year.
Chinese?
Not sure where is good as I don't really do Chinese, but I can load up on crispy duck and starters at places like Angel Chef with no worries.

If you want traditional the fromebridge is pretty good at christmas. Old spot was a bit dissapointing last year.
Ill eat anything though to be fair
yeahfromebridgeis always good. so is the Patch(tudor arms) at slimbridge.
just thought i would chirp up, seems a bit pointless going over chelt, as nobody from chelt turns up anymore, youve got the vinings down on the docks, get a good feed in there....

Bumpage for great Justice.
Lengthy discussions were had at the last Cheltenham meet and it was decided that we will shoot for the Fromebridge Mill's carvery.

We need interest by the end of this month please and then we'll find a day.

Hmm, easy access off junction 13!
Maybe interested myself. Date may be an issue as I already have a few festive bookings.
But what about the West Country folk that aren't so local?
Would be good to hear the input or opinions of those further south of the region.
Last year we did meal and bowling at the Longwell green complex. (I would post up the video clip of my winning strike but I can't be arsed to dig it out!):wack:

Right, I'll make up a calander and put names in of folks who can't do what days and then by the end of the month, whatever days are clear, we'll ring the Fromebridge and see what they have available that marry up.
Maybe you can keep a list going in the first post, Jon, of who's interested.
I'm free anyday, I think.
Can anyone more knowledgable than me stick this calender in as an inserted table so that it can be edited by me or Matt and Steve please?

For those of "you" not local to Bristol, "you" already have THIS thread - D'uh!
And yes there were two events for Christmas last year to try and include those that didn't want to travel.
Hence is why I asked the question, to find out:rolleyes:
And where's my quote??:smash::smash:
