Speed Camera Warning A127/Old london rd

Dad's just come in and informs me that a lot of new speed (shite I mean, "safety" :tosser: )cameras have popped up down the A127 to and from Southend and old london road through Hadleigh.

If you use these roads, keep your eyes peeled for them I think he said that some of them have been hidden behind trees/obstructions and are not at all obvious (his friend at work had been filling him in on where he has seen them go up).

Definately one after the mercedes dealer southend bound just past progress road so he said (near the trees). If i find out any more info i'll post it up.

one by the merc SMAC garage has been there for atleast 3 months

There are 2 new ones on the London, one by Safeways, one further on.

And some thoughtless person has smashed the one at the bottom of my road which looks suspiciously like the lense has been caved in by a garden shed object whilst the purpetrator was stood on garden steps so as to allow him to put his hand through the lense and smash the insides aswell, leading to a costly replacement which has no yet been sourced........ funny i expect this is going to happen everytime that camera is fixed until they get the message :wave:

Oh PS, if you're on canvey, do you have either a blue SX or a debadged one (cant remember if it was green or blue)?

I too can see more camera smashing happening! I think soon Safety cameras themselves will need a safety camera...

I think i have seen a blue s14 going around witha loud zorst, coupla s13's too including one with a lovely bodyfiller/grey primer paintjob :thumbs:

if it was a white S13 with mongoose, that'd be mine.....sadly i only had it a week :cry: took it back to the dealer for a £100 loss, drove it around for a week to get comfortable with it..and drifting ;) even spun it on the roundabout coming onto Canvey in the wet. But insurance quotes were in the £2k range, which meant SXy had to go back :( last i saw of it was in Southend with someone in the baseball cap group, has changed the rear to read 'sx machine' :tosser:

There's a blue one around i've seen too, big zorst and some kind of white writing on the sunvisor strip

Heh that roundabout was quite fun in my friend's mr2, scared me out of my skin the amount of grip that car had compared to a normal saloon. Went round it at over 50 mph with me reaching for the jesus handle! Was dry of course, he isnt suicidal... very fun car :D

I'd love to save for a s14a but the insurance is not feasible (fully comp £2k+), so may either get a s13 or a mk2 mr2 t-bar like my mates since they are more reasonable in that respect and a bit cheaper to run.... of course thats unless I land a stonking good job after uni and have money to burn :D :D
