moments after arrival the team sprang into action, and I had a hot cup of coffee in my hand:D
fuel pressure diagnosis confirmed what i thought, the fpr was fine. no, i haven't bought a new fpr fron nissan, that wasn't me:wack:
just don't use the wipers while checking the pressure:D
contrary to all advice on here, i didn't have a boost leak:thumbs: and the timing was fine. as was ign amp.
there did appear to be what loked like a lump of coal attached to the afm though, ooops
it was still a bit crap, but that was a vast improvement on the completely knackered status when it arrived. so a prfec b and stage 1A chip were thrown on, as you do......
and it was a bag of poo.
Jez diagnosed this as a differnt bag of poo to earlier, possibly spark related, so 4 new plugs were thrown in, and she's going like a goodun.
"bit of a whistle from the turbo gasket though"
50 mile drive home with properly performing 200 has eliminated turbo whistle. the gasket is on the m4 somewhere i suspect:eek: sxoc to te rescue, Ben had a spare one, and car is being worked on right now.
Jez reconns I have the best vvt he's ever heard. or did he say worst? whatever, can't hear it over the turbo leak anyway:wack:
worn cams are a bit of a worry though:cry:
be back there soon to put that lot right :Plug::Plug::Plug::Plug::Plug:
cheers guys:thumbs:
