video camera

Anyone got any recommendations for a video camera that will enable me to produce .wmv or .avi files on my pc?

I'm not looking for something extremely flashy, just functional and good value.

Canon MV-400i or similar. It has DV-In and Out, as well as analog in and out. None of the useless still photo crap. Just great, rather small DV-camera to do movies. Can't think of one of better value and that's why I got one of these myself. :)
